Measures to Limit the Increase in Rent Prices for Regular Residential Housing in Andorra

The ‘Law 24/2023 of 28 November’ of Andorra implements measures to stabilize and stimulate the housing rental market by restricting rent increases and establishing mandatory extensions for existing contracts. Increases are limited by the CPI and current rent, and do not apply in special cases, such as social rentals or personal use by the owner. Additionally, serious infractions are established for preventing the extension of the contract. These regulations seek to facilitate access to reasonably priced housing and protect both tenants and landlords against inflation and recent residential growth.
